Weekly Recommendations

I watch a lot of movies and shows and listen to a lot of music. So I thought I'd start a series called "Weekly Recommendations" where I recommend at least one movie, show, and song/album every week for you guys to check out. It won't always be new music or movies or shows because I like to watch stuff on my computer, so this will allow you guys to watch even if you can't go to the movie theatre that week. This will be an extra post I will try to do every Tuesday or Wednesday. The things I recommend will probably be from the previous week (except music). So here's my first week of recommendations!

Movie
Still in theatres movie: Frozen
If you haven't seen this movie, seriously drop what you're doing and watch it now. The animation is incredible and the music is mind blowing. Disney has definitely out done themselves this time, there is no doubt that I will be getting this movie on DVD or downloading it on iTunes as soon as I can.
At home movie: Madea's Witness Protection Program
I recently saw the newest Madea movie in theatres with my boyfriend and I had tears streaming down my face. When I got home, I immediately headed to Netflix to watch any others they had on there as I had never watched any of the Madea movies. It is hilarious! Once again, I was crying from laughter. Definitely would suggest it if you're looking for a good comedy.

Show
New episodes airing now show: BBC's Sherlock
I fell in love with Sherlock about six months ago. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are perfect together. Unfortunately, there was a two year hiatus with this huge cliff hanger that killed everyone. After two years though, Sherlock has returned! You can find Season 1 and Season 2 of Sherlock on Netflix. You'll have to poke around on the internet to find Season 3 episode 1 and 2. Or, if you're an American, it will air on BBC America January 19 at 10 PM (eastern time). I like to stream it live from BBC One, the British station though, because I'm impatient. The last episode of the season comes on January 12th at 3:30 PM Eastern Time!
Completed Series show: Lilo and Stitch
For some reason, when I was younger I never cared for the Lilo and Stitch series. But now, I am in love with it. I've been watching it like crazy, especially when I'm wanting a night in, I like to settle down in my onesie and pop open my laptop for a little while while eating some chocolate. It will definitely make you feel nostalgic and like a little kid again.

Music
Available on iTunes music: Frozen (the complete soundtrack)
After seeing the movie, I went to go download the soundtrack as soon as possible. I listen to it every day multiple times a day, running around the house shouting out the songs. I have pretty much every song memorized. The entire album is only $7, it includes all the musical numbers in the movie, as well as the film score and credit songs, with 32 songs total.
Free on iTunes music: Reflections by MisterWives
Every Monday, iTunes puts out a new song that is free. This week it was Reflections. I always check because you never know what kind of great music you'll find, plus it's free! I have been listening to this song on repeat since I downloaded, I'm absolutely in love with Mandy Lee's voice. Go download it before the week is over!

Have anything you want me to recommend next week? Leave a comment below with suggestions of shows, movies, or songs I can listen to/watch and I may recommend them next week! Let me know if you loved any of my recommendations as well!
